Wintergardening

We know keeping up with your garden or balcony in the winter is not easy at all. First of all we all lack the motivation to be outside gardening in the cold and gloomy winter days, secondly lack of flowers and vegetations make it a bit more difficult to create a beautiful landscape. Or so we were told.

Of course the possibilities and range of plants that you can use to shape your winter garden will vary greatly, and they do depends on factor like your location and the exposition of your garden itself. Obviously if you get often ice and snow it can make things a little more difficult, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t keep on growing crops or that you can’t keep on enjoying your outside space.

We have collected a list of links with tips on how to take care of your garden in winter:
Vegetable Garden gives you tips on how and what to How to plant a fall and winter vegetable garden to have fresh vegetables even during those snowy days.

Peter Donegan instead, is a landscaper and garden designer in Dublin, Ireland, that has a tip or two on how to plan your garden during the winter time in order to enjoy it in spring and summer.

Scarecrow gardens has some design ideas instead that could come useful in planning your winter garden.

And if just these ideas are not enough, you can always check some books like RHS Gardening Month by Month, or Winter Gardening.
