Dubai is going green

The Emirate of Dubai has started 2012 by planning a multimillion green energy project. On the 31st of December 2011 officials had in fact announced a solar energy park to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels and start decreasing their carbon footprint as well. Valencia General Hospital helps the environment

During 2010, they have followed an environmental policy that has savedĀ  5.804 trees from being cut. They have recycle 319.250 kilograms of paper in 2010 . Since the creation of the Green Office in 2004 they have recycled 1033 tons between paper and cardboard and have saved 18.792 trees, according to the sources of this hospital, it has been said in europapress. Last march the amount of energy generated from wind was the first energy source for Spain, reducing CO2 emissions for 1,7 millions of tons.
