Laughter Yoga in Dublin

There are a lot of benefits in exercising yoga as we all know and there are different kinds of yoga as well. One of my favorites is laughter yoga and Openmind Yoga in Dublin is currently giving laughter yoga classes!

We have talked about Opendmind Yoga in previous posts. It is Ireland biggest yoga space and have a lot of yoga classes during the week, even classes at lunch time for only 8 euro!

Now, I have discovered there is also laughter yoga taught by the experienced teacher Angie Kinsella .

There are a lot of benefits in this kind of yoga and can really change your life since it is known for fighting against stress, depression and can maintain an emotional balance.

In the website in Openmind Yoga Angie Kinsella describes the benefits of laughter yoga and she explains that you can feel the difference after one session. Well, I have done one session, and I can tell you I felt happier and more relaxed after the class. Angie even explains that the frequency of colds and flu’s reduces. As this kind of yoga activates and releases endorphins it will make you feel more optimistic. Laughter also “increases the levels of immunoglonulin A (IgA), the first line of defense protecting us against viral infections such as coughs and colds.”

After one session you will feel the difference but if you go regularly Angie claims it will improve your entire mental and physical state.

Angie Kinsella is doing some laughter workshops this week so if you want to participate, write to info@openmindyoga.ie or use the contact page.

Remember as well that Openmind Yoga is located in Pearse St and in Temple bar and they run numerous workshops throughout the year. Also, there will be the Open Day in Temple Bar on July 9th where you can go there for free, meet the teachers, ask the questions you may have and why not, do some yoga!
