Green lifestyle: some tips and more!
It is the time of the year when people is thinking about summer holidays and maybe, they will start a diet since they need to appear beautiful on the beach with the bikini. Also, why not make a difference and start helping the environment by making some changes?
Trees are a beautiful and necessary part of the earth. Providing oxygen and clean air they have a very important job and should be treated with respect. Instead of that they are cut down in vast numbers. Did you know over half a million trees need to be cut down to produce a paper? Fight against this madness read your news online and recycle which can save up to 75,000.
Millions of creatures who live in the ocean are being killed by plastic and waste that is tossed aside and swept up into the ocean. The importance of recycling can not be stressed enough here. Some of them are even endangered and we do not do anything to help them. The ocean needs to remain clean for sea life and the planet. Clean up around your local beach, and make sure you are emptying your rubbish into the correct containers. Make sure you recycle everything at home as well since it will save a lot of energy and probably animal lives!
Over 1/3 of total energy use is done by people at home. If you would like to cut down your energy use then start today by letting sunshine in during the day, unplugging electrical devices after use, changing to solar power lights and switching to as many Eco products as possible! Save energy and money on your bill!
The average person uses hundreds of batteries during the year and all these are filled with toxic chemicals when they are put to the waste bin. Why not choose rechargeable batteries, they might be a little more expensive when you buy them first but they are Eco-Friendly, can be re-used and will save you a lot of money in the long term. Every little bit helps for the environment so make daily changes as often as possible.
