Green jobs in Dublin
Green jobs, green businesses and much more events at the 16th Sustainable Living Festival in Dublin running from 16th till 27th June. It has events in a lot of cities in Ireland, not only Dublin, such as Sligo, Limerick or Cork.
This festival started in 2000 and since then, it has become one of the main in Ireland in creating and in showing how to create a sustainable economy, society and built environment.
This year the festival gathers a lot of workshops, events, forums and films in different categories such as community resilience, workshops in gardening and permaculture or seminars on Green Building like the seminar that will take place in Griffith College Dublin on: How can sustainability be achieved and what needs to happen to enable it?
Very interesting as well is the workshop on permaculture giving you the certificate of the Full Immersive Permaculture Design Certificate course running from 19th till 28th August .
With regards to gardening, there is more variety such as courses on home composting or the garden design workshop.
But the main focus of this year is on jobs. The schedule will gather a lot of events and seminars on green works that will be free for jobseekers. In the website Green Works, you will find the events of this year’s festival and information on what consist the job placements and educational programs of Green Works. In this years schedule information on what are the green jobs, what are the opportunities in green jobs and business and how we can make a green economy will be the main areas. There will be interesting ideas for green business such as Facebook and Twitter for green business.
